A large proportion of accidents in the construction industry result from falls from height. Many of these are caused by scaffolding that is not erected for its intended purpose and lacks adequate safety measures. To reduce accidents, mast climbing work platforms must be erected to standard by authorised personnel, with due attention to erection and dismantling procedures and on-platform safety measures, and operated only by workers holding operator certification.

In physically demanding work, particularly in construction, workplace accidents cause significant social and economic harm through injury and disability. Risks commonly seen in the Turkish construction sector are largely ergonomic, with falls, struck-by incidents, caught-between incidents, and electrocution among the most serious.

Our goal is to minimise such accidents and maximise workplace and personnel safety.
