Backup Brake System

Our goal is to maximise workplace and personnel safety and minimise the risk of accidents. To this end, our mast climbing work platforms incorporate additional safety measures such as the overspeed safety brake system.

In the event of loss of control or uncontrolled descent, the electrically independent backup brake system engages and locks the system, preventing operation until the technical team arrives. The overspeed safety device mechanically locks when speed exceeds normal operating limits and applies progressive braking for a smooth stop. Every unit is delivered with the backup brake tested.
